An ERP Consultant works as a part of an Implementation team responsible for implementing ERP solution at any organization.
• What is Infor ERP LN Training? How is it different from other ERP education? Which course module should I take?
Infor ERP LN is an ERP solution from Infor formerly known as Baan. There is a large number of ERP software available globally and an equal number of education providers for them. Infor education is currently offered only through MSL Enterprise Solution Academy in India. You can choose which modules to take up - Distribution, Services, Finance, Manufacturing, and Tools of LN - according to your domain knowledge or experience.
• What are the pre-requisites for signing up for a training on any module?
The pre-requisites for the training are as follows:
Good knowledge of organization functions.
Good analytical and communication skills.
Working Engineers, Accounts Professionals, B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter Accounts Professionals.
VB.NET and C# Developers (for Technical tools training).
Engineering graduates, .NET/C# developers (for Technical tools Training).
• Can anyone take up the training?
Yes, anyone who satisfies the above eligibility criterion can take up the training.
• How good is your infrastructure compared to other training institutes?

There are basically 6 broad modules in Infor ERP LN viz: Distribution, Manufacturing, Finance, Services, Projects and Tools. The former five being Functional modules whereas the latter is a Technical module.

The training is offered on a full-time, part-time or and weekend basis.
• Do you offer customer specific training?
Yes, we do offer customer specific training for all modules or a mixed number of modules.
• Who are Infor's education partners?
MSL Enterprise Solution Academy is the only authorized education partner in India for Infor.
• Where will the trainings be held?
Currently, the training is offered only in New Delhi, but will be extended to other major cities in India soon.
• Are these trainings authorized from Infor?
Yes, Infor has authorized MSL Enterprise Solution Academy to conduct and impart training on Infor ERP LN in India.
• What is the placement assistance after successful completion of training?
After successful completion of the course and with certification, we will assist the candidates in obtaining potential placements with business partners of Infor in India and abroad.
• Who are the faculty members?
Faculty is certified by Infor to conduct training on various modules of Infor at MSL Enterprise Solution Academy.
• What is mode of payment?
The candidate can pay for the fees in the form of cash, DD, or account payee at-par cheques payable at New Delhi favoring Merino Services Limited.
• What is the certification charge?
The certification fee is INR 25, 000 plus service tax.
• Can I take-up only the certification Examination?
Yes, one can take up only the certification provided he/she has been working on Infor ERP Baan or Infor ERP LN in the last 2 years and his/her employer authenticates it.
• How can I enroll?
One needs to register for the training by filling a registration form and paying the registration fees.
• What are the timings for the training?
Regular timings are 10am to 6pm on weekdays.
Weekend classes are from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
• Can I engage in more practice sessions after the classes are over?
Yes, the training center is open from 8am in the morning to 8pm in the evening.
• What is the course fee?
The course fee is lesser than any other authorized ERP training. For more details, please contact our nearest solution academy.
• Is boarding or lodging provided?
The candidates have to bear the boarding and lodging on their own. We provide tea and coffee during training hours.
• What is the methodology?
The training is conducted in a training room with computers assigned to the candidates. The instructor provides instructions with the candidates experiencing hands-on training at the same time.
• Why is certification necessary?
Certification is proof of your knowledge acquired through the training.
• What is the format of the examination?
The certification examination is an online examination lasting 3 hours. The questions are based on real time scenarios and how the consultant can solve them. The exams are standardized and conducted before proctors from Infor.
• What level of knowledge is tested?
The exam is the test of knowledge for Associate consultants to be put on projects under supervision of experienced consultants or team leaders.
• How will I know if I have passed the exam?
As soon as the candidate finishes his exam or when the exam lapses, the result will displayed on the screen.
• Can I retake the examination if I fail to clear the certification?
Each candidate is allowed up to 3 attempts to pass the exams and obtain certification. Additional attempts will be charged accordingly.
